- All of the Company’s activities and decisions are guided by its approved business strategy, ensuring that sustainable development is not only a part of the Company’s environmental and community commitments, but an integral and inseparable element of its business model.
- Compliance with legal regulations is not merely viewed as an obligation but also as a prerequisite for all operations, helping to build a healthy and equitable business environment for the Company.
- In addition, learning from and referencing best practices in the fertilizer industry is an important factor in the Company’s efforts to adopt the most advanced and effective methods in its production processes. Global best practices introduced by the International Fertilizer Association (IFA) and other leading organizations worldwide are actively referenced.
- The Company also draws from international sustainable development standards and guidelines, such as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), relevant to the fertilizer sector, and the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), to ensure that its business operations contribute to addressing global environmental and social challenges.
- Each company has its own unique characteristics. Therefore, PVCFC’s approach to sustainable development is always tailored to suit the Company’s specific needs and circumstances, thereby maximizing effectiveness and creating sustainable value for both the Company and the community.

COMMITMENT TO ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY AND LONG-TERM DEVELOPMENT
PVCFC always strictly complies with current legal regulations and manages according to ISO 14001:2015 standards to control environmental work. All sources of waste from the Factory are strictly controlled and minimized in quantity, while quality control always meets the permitted regulations before being discharged into the environment.
Energy
Continue to focus on improving the efficiency of energy use. Seek renewable energy sources to partially replace fossil energy sources in use, aiming to reduce energy intensity and reduce emissions.
Climate change
We use all available resources to reduce absolute emissions as well as the intensity of greenhouse gas emissions across all three ranges. We also continue to invest in product research to develop products that help farmers better cope with the impacts of climate change such as drought and salinity.
Circular agriculture
As a closed-loop agricultural production system, waste and by-products are recycled and used as inputs into the production process, maximizing resource utilization and minimizing waste and negative impacts on the environment. We aim for activities and products that provide adequate nutrients to plants in a sustainable manner, including increasing the proportion of organic and microbial fertilizers and improving soil health.
Water, air and waste
We aim to manage and use water resources responsibly, manage waste during production, especially the recovery and recycling of fertilizer packaging.
Biodiversity
Our activities are aimed at ensuring the maintenance and protection of biodiversity. We do this by bringing good products to consumers and training on sustainable fertilizer use practices according to the 4R principles of IFA and 5 R principles of Vietnam.
PVCFC is always deeply aware that social responsibility is not just an obligation but also a core human value that contributes to the sustainable development of the business.
Protect and build human capital
People are the key success factor of PVCFC. We focus on creating an environment where employees are guaranteed health and safety, enjoy benefits commensurate with their contributions and experience, and have opportunities to develop and improve their skills.
Benefits for farmers/customers
Farmers are the key players in the agricultural value chain. Through training programs, cooperation with other organizations, customer/farmer support programs, PVCFC will contribute to improving rural life and economy while promoting sustainable agricultural development.
Product safety
Safe fertilizers increase crop productivity and quality, and protect the environment and human health. Fertilizer quality is strictly controlled according to international standards from raw materials to final products, with periodic inspections throughout the production process, ensuring that each batch of products is of the highest and consistent quality, protecting public health and biodiversity.
Sustainable economy
We support farmers in accessing finance for their production and business activities. At the same time, we guide the development of a green financial framework that ensures environmental and social efficiency for projects.
Community
We continue to support the community through projects that have a great impact on social security in the areas where we operate.

Legal compliance for sustainable development
Compliance with the law helps us avoid potential legal risks, enhances transparency, and boosts our reputation in the market.
Annually, PVCFC prepares a periodic environmental monitoring plan and submits a periodic environmental protection report in accordance with Decree 40/2019/ND-CP dated 13/5/2019, Circular 25/2019/TT-BTNMT dated 31/12/2019 to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Ca Mau province. We carry out the identification of aspects and assess environmental impacts; identify significant environmental aspects to implement appropriate environmental control programs at each unit within the Company.

The Sustainable Development Report serves as a bridge between PVCFC and stakeholders, affirming the commitment to economic growth alongside environmental protection and contributions to the community, while continuously enhancing benefits for all stakeholders.
This document helps PVCFC to continuously review and assess the effectiveness of the sustainable development roadmap, thereby adjusting the implementation plan for the most effective solutions aimed at achieving green growth and sustainable development in the future.
